Dear GeorgeCuda,A question like this comes up occasionally on Ask.com...Although the average life span is around fifteen years, the Guinness Book of Records records a cat named Creme Puff who lived to be 38 years and 3 days.And then, here is an article from 2011 about a cat in Wales named Lucy (complete with photo!); she was 39 years old then, and still goes out into the garden to patrol for mice!
