The computer I'm looking at is an Asus G73SW. I want to play Minecraft and some other games like Deponia and Quantum Conundrum. I want to videotape the game as I'm playing it, and I want a really good quality. As for the microphone, I have no idea what to do with that either. I want to be kind of like Tobuscus. I'm not sure if I want to do face cam or not... Basically I want to record what's going on on my laptop, but... Not all of it. Like if I'm on Skype and Minecraft at the same time, I want to record the Minecraft and nothing else. Basically, what Captain Sparklez or Chimneyswift or Nova have. I have more examples of people if you need them.
Oh, and Internet games like Happy Wheels. But I really want to have a good camera so people watching it don't have to struggle to enjoy it. And I'm only 14 so I don't have that great of a budget... He he. Help me out? Because I'm lost when It comes to detailed technology.
Get fraps, its a good beginner recorder. I suggest just doing lots of stop, for example do some minecraft, then some terraria, then tekkim mods, flash games, happy wheels, WoW, and league of legends. But do what you want. If you dont got a mic i suggest getting one, doesnt matter witch one.Cheep or not but i suggest not buying a $300 intill u get some views.
For PC, you should get a program that can handle high frames per second, that records the while screen. (P.S. A desktop computer might be better for games, but that's your choice)Comment if you have any extra questions
you do realize you could just take a "movie screen shot" of yourself playing and post that on youtube
