Im on Mac Osx 10.9.4 and Im running 1.7.9 Of minecraft. Im trying to connect to my favorite servers but it keeps popping up with can't connect. I don't have a FireWall up because I'm sitting behind my router. The Company My internet is through is CenturyLink and its the Newest router they have. How can I fix the problem and play the game without trying to re-connect over and over?

Sitting behind your Router is not as good as using a Firewall.I suggest you contact the provider and have them check your connection in and out of your system.
