Poinsettia plant care

2016-05-31 06:23
My Poinsettia plant is throwing off a sap like substance. I have had it for 8 years and this just started around Nov. What can I do? Should I plant it outside? Help please. That stuff is really sticky. I live in Washington State if that helps any.
It is normal for the poinsettia plants to produce sap on a certain stage of growth. The sap is not a sign of any disease infection but can cause an itchy rush if it contacts the skin.
