I suggest you go in to the dept of motor vehicles and get the free book for studying to pass the test.

Just use common sense and don't drive with you head up your A$$ and you will do fine.

The road test and points vary from state to state. In my state the minimum passing score is 70%. The biggest point deduction is inability to parallel park. They take a lot of points off for that. I forgot exactly how any because I'm sure that has changed. How ever, here are some tips and stuff they look to deduct points off for: 1) stay at least two car lengths behind another vehicle. 2) Always check frequently and know what's in your blind, and rear view. They deduct points off your score if they see that you do not frequently check. 3) Signal at least within 100 feet of a turn, 4) buckle your safety belt, 5) when you park uphill, turn your wheels to the right, 6) come to a stop at least 15 feet within a stop sign or yield sign, 7) if you have to come to a stop at a railroad crossing, stop at least 30 feet from the tracks, 8) always yield the right of way to oncoming traffic at ANY intersection whether or not there is a stop sign, signal light at an open intersection, 7) when an emergency vehicle utilizing lights and sirens approaches, pull to the closest point to the right curb or outside shoulder, 8) when approaching an emergency vehicle who is stationary (on a traffic stop or when the emergency lights are activated), make sure you slow down, and if possible vacate that lane that is closest to the shoulder where they are pulled over, 9) keep both hands on the steering wheel at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. 10) always come to a complete stop at a stop sign, the proceed ONLY when safe todo so. 11) ALWAYS pay attention to school zones and/or construction zones because the speed limit is reduced.12) ALWAYS watch for a school bus. If the school bus lights are flashing red, you must stop (traffic in both directions), and you may not proceed until the bus removes the lights and resumes motion again.

I do know you lose 20 points if you don't look over your shoulder in your blind spot when you change lanes. It's the only thing I missed and I got an 80. 79 was failing. PHEW
