Yeah, that is a common problem.If your a student you go to school during the day and at night hw.If you work, work during the day and cleaning,chores at night.I end up running each day in the morning at 6am-7am then shower+breakfast and I do 2 days of weights each week, usually 1 on the weekend. I am in pretty good shape.

If it matters enough you can find 30 minutes every other day to start. If it doesn't matter enough....you won't bother. That may sound harsh....but it's true.

I gave up trying to follow particular diets; too much adjusting and calculating. Here's what I worked out for myself, and the weight IS creeping down (slow is better; the effects last longer). To begin with, feed your hunger (physical sensation in the stomach) not your appetite (voice in your head whispering "I know where the cookies are."Eat less, especially of sugary or greasy/oily foods. Try not to add gravies, sauces, or toppings. Never have second helpings and leave one spoonful of each food on the plate as a symbol of the weight you wish to lose. Exercise more. If you're somewhere close enough to walk there or ride a bike, do that instead of riding car. If you walk your dog, run part of the way (it will be good for the dog too). If there is an elevator and stairs, take the stairs. And keep at it. It takes time for your system to adjust to this new way of living. You have to be determined.
