I think i have UTI (urinary tract infection) and i just realized what it was tonight. Every once in a while i pee blood (its only a little) and it hurts when i pee. I heard you can die! Now im afraid to go to sleep cuz i might die in my sleep! I dont know what to do! Ive had this problem for a year or 2.
Relax, I am a retired doctor. It sounds like a probable UTI, and a fatality is so can sleep tonight. I'd suggest you drink some cranberry juice and water. Refrain from drinking soda or alcohol. You will most likely need an antibiotic to cure this, so get to your doctor as soon as you can. Take the entire bottle of antibiotics...don't stop early, and follow the instructions your doctor gives you. It'll clear up quickly.
A year! That is really important OMG! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CALL A DoKTEr
If it's actually a UTI it can get bad fast. If you get really bad abdominal pain and a high fever call 911. Otherwise see your doctor ASAP . The doc will prescribe an antibiotic .
Go to the er asap especially if its ongoing, you won't die chill out! These are common and so is the blood, you'll just get put on antibiotic, try to drink cranberry juice and you can buy over the counter pain relief for uti that numb that area when you pee, but thats only temporary it won't treat your uti so go to a Dr or er asap, good luck
I had UTI before and it wasn't that bad. UTI cannot go bad that fast, but this is no where near a UTI. You might have something else. Does your pee stink? Is your pee a dark color yellow look? I would go to a hospital. You may have an infection if you have any of these symptoms:You feel pain or burning when you urinate. You feel like you have to urinate often, but not much urine comes out when you do.Your belly feels tender or heavy.Your urine is cloudy or smells bad.You have pain on one side of your back under your ribs. This is where your kidneys are.You have fever and chills. You have nausea and vomiting.Call your doctor right away if you think you have an infection and:You have a fever, nausea and vomiting, or pain in one side of your back under your ribs. You have diabetes, kidney problems, or a weak immune system. You are older than 65.You are pregnant. You would need to go to a hospital.
