Should i make a move? and are we just going as friends? or does he like me? i mean, he said yes, and then when i apologized for being awkward, he said that he was awkward also and that we would cancel each other out and that he thinks that it'd be fun to go. Im really nervous about it because i don't really talk to him all that much and he's shy. I've noticed that he made more of an effort to try to talk to me, and he looks at me more. I want to go as more than friends, but I'm not sure if he's up for it. I'm too afraid to ask, but I'm secretly hoping that he'll make a move. I'm afraid that he's too shy to do so, but I don't know. I guess I'm just looking for some advice. Im 17 by the way.

well first age doesn't matter as long as he's not 8 years older. But I think that you should see how the night goes and maybe at the end or while a slow dance ask if he was having fun. If he says yes maybe ask if he would like to go skating and try to make it as possible like its just two friends.

If you're just friends, why would you make a move? I don't know, are you just going as friends? Maybe he said yes because you're his friend...do you see where I'm going with this? Nobody on here knows how he feels. I suggest you just relax, go to the dance, have fun and see what comes of it.
