About a hundred a month is a good estimate, couple of bales of mixed hay and some oats plus nibblies like carrots and apples.

It will depend on costs in your area, how much grass you have, age of the horse, the quality of hay you buy and how hard you work him. In general, a horse goes through 2-2.5% of their body weight in forage (hay or grass). The more grass you have, the less hay you need. (Weeds don't count). Hard working horses need grain to get extra calories. The best thing for any horse is high quality hay and limited grain. I would not buy my hay from feed stores but contact farmers and look online for ways you can share a truckload delivered in. Talk to other horse owners that have healthy looking horses and find out where they buy their hay.

Grain is about 12 to 18 dollars for a 50 pound bag it depends on how much your horse eats how many bags you will need I don't know about hay but if you bored some barns will provide hay in the board or charge extra for hay

Depends on how much hay costs in your area. I think they go through a hay bale every two or three days, but you can supplement that with pellets. Usually you buy hay by the ton.
