Alternatives for Internet under Toolbox allows for making IE as standard homepage, but the field cannot be activated

From TOOLS go to OPTIONS. In options go to general and write the name of the homepage you want and then click OK. Try it again. OR download INTERNET EXPLORER. Have a nice day. :))

You can easily change between browsers.
