My hands (mostly fingers) always have a copper/metallic smell, even if I wash vigorously! Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Strangely enough, there are a few ways this can happen. Some are simple, like extreme overtiredness or after a heavy muscular workout (some weightlifters experience this at times). Sometimes, however, it's a symptom of a medical state. Some diabetics get this, or sometimes it's a side effect of a hormone or liver issue. It is a real thing, though. The cause may be very minor or possibly major, but there's no way to know (unless you have other symptoms), without testing your blood to check for diabetes/liver/etc. signs. If you're concerned, or have other stuff going on like excessive tiredness or thirst, bloating or whatnot, just get it checked out by some routine blood tests at the doctors.

Just random guesses..You have iron in your blood, and if you have a mosquito bite and itch it too much it bleeds. And blood does smell like that.Hormones?Sometimes when you hang on to money for too long, your hands get really warm and sometimes sweat. Sometimes after I hang on to change in my hand for too long they smell like copper.
